London, UK – 27 June 2025 – Sorbie Bornholm LP (“Sorbie”), a UK-based investment fund, is excited to announce that ARES Strategic Mining Inc. (CSE: ARS; FRA: N8I1; OTC: ARSMF) has, for the first time, received additional cash from both of its Sharing Agreements, without issuing any new shares. In the most recent monthly settlement, ARES received 12% extra cash from Sharing Agreement 1, dated 23 August 2024, and an impressive 31% boost from Sharing Agreement 2, dated 15 January 2025.

This milestone reflects growing confidence in ARES’s trajectory as it accelerates development of the only permitted fluorspar mine in the United States. With construction advancing in Utah, ARES is positioning itself as a strategic domestic supplier of a critical mineral essential to steelmaking, aluminum, and clean energy technologies like lithium-ion batteries and refrigeration.

Fluorspar’s relevance continues to grow as industries and governments prioritize secure, local sources of supply. With demand on the rise and geopolitical pressures reshaping global resource strategies, ARES offers investors a timely opportunity with near-term production potential and long-term strategic value.

Sorbie and ARES entered into Sharing Agreements dated 23 August 2024 and 15 January 2025. The Sharing Agreement is structured to allow ARES to retain significant economic interest in the Sorbie Subscription Shares. This innovative funding approach enhances ARES’s financial flexibility as it advances toward production and builds momentum in one of the most strategically vital mineral sectors.

About Ares Strategic Mining Inc.

Ares Strategic Mining owns the only permitted fluorspar mine in the United States and is positioned to become the country’s sole domestic producer of fluorspar—an irreplaceable critical mineral essential to multiple strategic industries. Construction of the mine and its associated processing facilities is actively underway. Ares has secured over US $15 million in combined federal and state-backed financing, including support from the Utah State Legislature, the Community Impact Board (CIB), and the U.S. Department of Energy, to accelerate infrastructure development at the site.

Acquired by Ares in 2020, the 100%-owned Lost Sheep Mine in Utah hosts high-grade fluorspar with low impurity levels. The mineral—commercially known as fluorspar and geologically as fluorite (CaF₂)—has critical applications across steelmaking, aluminum production, cement, glass, refrigerants, lithium-ion batteries, and the nuclear fuel cycle. The project is fully permitted and now financially supported by multiple tiers of government, in addition to institutional investment partner Sorbie Bornholm LP, which recently increased its financial commitment.
