London, UK – 24 July 2025 – Sorbie Bornholm LP (“Sorbie”), a UK-based investment fund, is pleased to announce that ARES Strategic Mining Inc. (CSE: ARS; FRA: N8I1; OTC: ARSMF) has again received additional cash from both of its Sharing Agreements—without issuing any new shares.

In this month’s settlement, ARES received an extra 30% cash from its Sharing Agreement dated 15 January 2025, and an additional 10% from the Sharing Agreement dated 23 August 2024.

This continued outperformance from both agreements highlights strong ongoing investor engagement and growing confidence in ARES’s future. As ARES advances construction at the only permitted fluorspar mine in the United States, its position as a strategic domestic supplier of this critical mineral is rapidly taking shape.

Fluorspar is essential for steelmaking, aluminum, and key clean energy technologies including lithium-ion batteries and refrigeration systems. With secure local sourcing now a national priority, ARES is well-positioned to meet rising demand and fill a critical supply chain gap in North America.

The Sharing Agreements with Sorbie, dated 23 August 2024 and 15 January 2025, are structured to allow ARES to maintain a significant economic interest in the Sorbie Subscription Shares. This funding approach provides non-dilutive capital, giving ARES enhanced flexibility as it nears production and builds long-term strategic value in a geopolitically vital resource sector.

About Ares Strategic Mining Inc.

Ares Strategic Mining owns the only permitted fluorspar mine in the United States and is positioned to become the country’s sole domestic producer of fluorspar—an irreplaceable critical mineral essential to multiple strategic industries. Construction of the mine and its associated processing facilities is actively underway. Ares has secured over US $25 million in combined federal and state-backed financing, including support from the Utah State Legislature, the Community Impact Board (CIB), and the U.S. Department of Energy, to accelerate infrastructure development at the site.

Acquired by Ares in 2020, the 100%-owned Lost Sheep Mine in Utah hosts high-grade fluorspar with low impurity levels. The mineral—commercially known as fluorspar and geologically as fluorite (CaF₂)—has critical applications across steelmaking, aluminum production, cement, glass, refrigerants, lithium-ion batteries, and the nuclear fuel cycle. The project is fully permitted and now financially supported by multiple tiers of government, in addition to institutional investment partner Sorbie Bornholm LP, which continues to be a strong supporter of ARES Strategic Mining.
